Firstly, this webinar is geared towards helping health care professionals feel better prepared at having difficult conversations with caregivers. Secondly improving these communication techniques may lead to helping caregivers better cope, heal and nurture meaning making processes.
This pandemic has been both a sprint and a marathon. We are sprinting through changing information, practices, procedures and protocols. COVID-19 hit us at a time of incredible change in the landscape of health care. We, also, were not ready to experience the soul crushing grief of dying family members, friends and clients without our supportive practices and rituals. It is ever so important to be aware of the physical, emotional and spiritual suffering that the pandemic has caused. This webinar will guide participants in assessing Compassion Fatigue, Burn Out and Secondary Trauma as we prepare for the next wave of this pandemic. Useful tools and practical suggestion will be presented on how to assess and constructively deal with the fallout of the moral and spiritual distress caused by COVID-19.
Registration link is intended for individual participation and not group participation. There is a one-time fee of $100 (+HST) to attend all three sessions.
