This training session will focus on some of the best practices while recruiting volunteers or staff while being mindful of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Building a supportive and inclusive culture is paramount for sustaining employee morale in any organization. This session will help bridge any gaps between your experiences and those of an unfamiliar candidate. You will also learn how to attract and retain diverse talent.
Amanda Cucullo (she/her) serves as a subject matter expert in many areas of HR, including recruitment and selection, diversity and inclusion, workplace equity, training and development, employee relations, and performance management. She is a Professor at George Brown College, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She instructs various human resources and organizational behaviour courses. In Amanda’s professional career, she successfully applied blended instructional design techniques and methodologies using various virtual and face-to-face delivery methods, including e-learning, workshops, and simulations. Amanda has a Bachelor of Commerce from the Ted Rogers School of Business Management as well as a Masters of Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto.
